An extra-deep ember bed and a specially designed reflective flame panel double the visual depth for a strikingly realistic flame, drawing it up between the fuel bed.
Heat vents are concealed at the top of the firebox—no grills or louvers across the face—so the fireplace keeps a flush, architectural look from every angle.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our fireplaces and Oak & Ember log sets ship in separate boxes, which may arrive on different days. The main fireplace package includes the standard Alpine White pebbles and crushed black glass embers. Upgraded kits like our Oak & Ember real wood logs and architectural fire spheres arrive in their own box.
Yes. All SotaFlame log sets are made from real oak hardwood. Each piece is carefully cut, shaped, and charred by our team in Minnesota to create an authentic, natural look.
Yes. All our wood is kiln-dried by Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA)-certified producers. They meet strict MDA and USDA heat-treatment standards, ensuring the wood is free from pests and safe for transport and indoor use.
Yes. The glass stays cool and the fireplace has an automatic safety shut-off if it gets too hot. There is also a Heater Lock setting that keeps the heater controls from responding at all, so it can’t be turned on by accident.
Yes. The wall temperatures directly above the fireplace remain cool, meaning you can safely place a TV anywhere above the fireplace.
A minimum 15-amp, 120V circuit is required (20-amp, 120V recommended). The fireplace can either be plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet or hardwired. Additional appliances on the same circuit as the fireplace may exceed the current rating of that circuit when the heater is on. A dedicated circuit is not required, but is recommended to prevent circuit breaker trips or fuse failure.
The 1500 watt heater produces up to 5,000 BTU, enough to warm a room of about 400 square feet. It’s supplemental heat, meant to take the chill off the room you’re actually in rather than replace your furnace.
Yes. The flame and the heater operate independently, so the fireplace works the same in July as it does in January. Enjoy year-round, with or without the heat.
It’s how the ember bed moves. When activated, zones within the ember bed brighten and fade independently rather than glowing at one steady level, the way embers behave in a real fire.
